Nope actually that is not how I did it.

First off, the rs file i used was here:

Secondly,

1. Install Lightsaber mod
2. Extract your old rs file
3. inject into sleepercell's texturescripts
4???
5. Profit

SC's rez file has only certain rez's in it so the amount of stuff you can do this way is limited. The only model files are HH, SMG, and MELEE

im using sleeper cells texturescripts.... just inject into this rez if you want because it does have the melee model folder andf texture folder in it as well, because this was the light saber mod until i defecated on it
