Years ago there was a polar shift and the whole crust of the earth shifted. Antarctica supposedly use to be in a temperate zone of the world. Atlantis sunk to the bottom of the ocean during earthquakes. When the shift happened with the crust it could only seem as if there were earthquakes all over and the water spilled over into Antarctica because it had a low sea level. It moved to the "bottom" of the earth and froze over. This is called the Earth Crust Displacement Theory.

Yes, but based on a lot of scientific research, and several other factor's. It's simply the only only way such a thing could happen. Countries and islands and several other places were at one point in time attached to much larger peices of land.
