How to get your account back if it's been stolen!

Have you lost your account? Do you have no where else to go? Look no further, because with this guide, you will most likely be able to get your account. I have had one of my accounts stolen before, and with just a bit of work, I was able to get it back from Z8Games. This is my guide to getting your account back again!




First off, you need to get all of the necessary files to prove that you are the complete true owner of this account.

Here is a list of items that I recommend:


● registration email
● billing emails (emails that are sent to your email address when you make a transaction on paypal)
● any screenshot(s) in-game with your name
● login ID
● old passwords (best one would be registration password)
● your security answer that you made at registration
● any screenshot showing that you are the owner of the account (forum screenshots, etc.)
● date of creation of the account
● your IP address (should be the one at registration, or it’s no good)
● a link to your character
● any in-game replay(s) (.cfr file) that you can find of your account (the more the better, because if your name shows up 10 times out of 10 for replays, you have obviously owned the account)
● anything that can link you to your account, e.g clan
● anything else that you can think of that will prove that you are the owner of the account

Next off, click this, it is on the top of the screen, next to the forum icon:
It is the support section of Z8Games

If you do not wish to do that, you can just click this link, which will lead you straight to the Support Ticket form: z8 games - login transfer

Where it says Game Related Catergory, click the drop-down bar and choose: Z8Games
Then choose Account Details

In the question, you should put this:
● tell the support team that you have had your account stolen, or hacked
● include the following details:
○ registration email
○ billing emails
○ login ID
○ old passwords
○ your security answer that you made at registration
○ date of creation of the account
○ your IP address (should be the one at registration, or it’s no good)
○ a link to your character page
○ anything else that can link your to your account

In the attachment:
● upload your .zip / .rar file with the following using any program (winRAR is recommended, if you do not have it, there is a mini tutorial on how to download it on the bottom)
● Include the following details:
○ any screenshot(s) in-game with your name
○ a notepad file of the registration email and billing emails
○ any in-game replay(s) with your name on them (the more the better)

If you include all of this information, you should be able to get your account back, if they do not answer the support ticket, go in Cross Fire’s IRC (#CrossFire), and ask any Mod to talk to [GM]Saidin and tell him that it is of importance. Do this before 6PM EST on any week-day (holidays excluded). If you do not have Cross Fire’s IRC, click this link for a tutorial: Crossfire IRC Channel [GUIDE *updated 5-15] - Z8Games



Why?

Well, basically, if you do not tell Z8Games that you have lost your account, they will not care. Frankly, they do not pamper you like a little baby. If you do not report the loss, they will not just give you back your account.

Failure to send a support ticket:
● just isn’t worth it, the least that will happen is you don’t get your account back and don’t go anywhere
● the hacker will most likely not give you your account back
● Z8Games will not hate you for trying to get your account back
● people won’t make fun of you if you don’t post a forum thread
● Z8Games will not give the account back to you if you cannot give them information proving that you are the true owner of the account

Also, if you don’t try, you won’t be rewarded!

well heroofcrossfire is just a chob, if it was a very important mpgh member like mpghLiz, then it would mean something. but like i said before your thread is nice i like it. you just provided too much information and no screens. but overall is really good.

I Can easily add screenshots, Ands its not provided too much, actually, Its just descriptive, and maybe yours is just simple?
