Actually, It isn't. Marijuana has been decriminalized, which is just pure stupidity. This basically means that it isn't illegal to possess or use pot, but it is still illegal to grow and sell it. The logic stops here because, if it is illegal to produce, where the hell does it come from?

@ People who simply bash politicians - Guys, stop being so ignorant. First, we need to realize that you're just choosing the same old product with a different label no matter which party you vote for. A few small differences in values/beliefs may exist between the parties, but it's like choosing Coke over Pepsi (or vice-versa). In the end, whoever gets elected will simply have their agendas curbed by large corporations who will "invest" money into the government (which is really only a bribe) so that the corporation's interests will be best served. Take the Beef Industry for example. Why do you think North Americans (no, not just Canadians) still allow all of our beef products to be pumped full of BGH (Bovine Growth Hormone)? The truth is, the Canadian government is flawed. Hell, all governments are flawed in some way or another. Democracy may benefit most of the people most of the time, but doesn't benefit enough of the people all of the time.

Edit: Oh, and also for those of you who don't know, the Green Party is not all about legalizing weed. That would be the actual Marijuana Party (no, i'm not kidding, there is one and I can PM you the link to their website if you don't believe me) whose whole political platform revolves around weed. The Green Party may have some sort of stance on whether or not pot should be legalized, but they are mainly concerned about being "green" or environmentally friendly as much as possible.
