There's nothing to install yet. The mod (or whatever it ends up being) has not been released.
Injectors are used to inject game-modifying .dll files, and MPGH does not have any .dll's for AVA at this time (Injectors are used for hacks, which are often in the form of .dll's).
.exe hacks are usually just a bundled .exe/.dll files, and the .exe automatically injects and manages the .dll

Based on the below image, it appears to be a texture modifier/remover.
That would explain why you can see through walls (at least some), as it is very hard to modify all the textures into transparent images, or just remove them altogether, and keep the game playable.
So, basically, it's not a technical hack, it is indeed a mod, a texture mod. It seems that you would have to unpack, edit, then repack .upk files to get this to work, which would be extremely difficult since all of AVA's .upk files are post-bake, making them extractable, maybe editable, but nigh-impossible to repack.
Maybe it's a D3D draw intercept, which blocks certain textures, I really don't know.
I eagerly await the release of this mod. I want to use it, tear it apart, and make it work on ALL textures/walls.
