How to set up and host a TS3 Server

Hello MPGH,after seeing some members asking on how to do it,and seeing the most dumb answers(xD),i decided to make a little tutorial about how to set and host your own TS3 Server.

First,sorry for my bad english xD

This tutorial applies to those who host locally or have their own VPS/Dedi Server(Since if you use a Hosting company,most of them set it up to you)

Ok,lets start.

First,you need to download the Server package and Client from here TeamSpeak - Downloads

Ok,now the installation of you server.

Step 1

You must forward the following Ports:

-9987 UDP
-30033 TCP
-10011 TCP

Step 2

Open your TS3 Folder and launch "ts3server_win32.exe"(the name will depend of the version you downloaded).A window with some info will be displayed,i advice to write down that info,since that info only show the first time you launch the server.

Step 3
After finishing instalation,open your Client.At connections tab click Connection.It will ask your IP.You must put your internal IP(192.168.1....)with port 9987,Choose a nickname and press connect.

Step 4
Now that you have your server up,and you connected you must make yourself admin.
To do so,you must go to Permissions-»Use priviliege Key.

You'll now should be admin in your server and you can start editing your channels

Step 5
Now,to other people connect to your server,they must do it using your external ip(Whatsmyip.org)+ port 9987.

Be sure to have the ports forwarded,or your friends wont be able to connect.Also,depending on your AV you must have to add TS3 permissions to your firewall.
