Heres my Threory for a anon-o-mizor

I find the texts string of my name (all of them) and becus they are 8 characters i change them to 8 bytes

So its still my name and it will be accepted by the server becous its still segnosis, only in bytes

so my name will apear to everyone as a bunch of numbers, while still being me

in theory

Or maybe it has to catch my information while im joining a game

take it out

alter it to bytes

then send it normaly

so it works when i join a game only

cus i cant log into Ca server in bytes

Well just change the way it displays your name to a numerical value


instead of having it add up to a text string


So its still means Your name (thus accpeted by the game) but in numbers so ppl will be like WDF???

I have no clue how what I say will be regarded here but whatever, I'll tell you what I've found.

I've done as you said for every value since I can't narrow them down, I've even done the first like you. My name was not changed to numbers for anyone. Because all I did was change how cheat engine read it and did nothing but that, sure that may send it back separately, but this is more than likely server-sided information. Just like ammo, you can change what it says for you, but the server still runs it the same for everyone else.

I personally say this isn't how it's done, there more than likely is a way but I do not know that.

(@everyone: Another tid bit of info, just follow the tutorial included for CE to understand the CE topics, then you can test it.)

Ok in the posts you have here, there was no real way to narrow down the 17 values you had up, you just chose one randomly from what I saw. What I meant by narrow down was to narrow down the occurrences of that name. This is commonly done by changing the value you search for. I'm going to try this with a mule account and search his name after my original name.

Funny, I have yet to see this alternative to avoid it being client sided, or you explained it in terms that make no sense. I have past experience with Cheat Engine, so throw some complex terms at me if you will.
