how to land on fly mode

so im flying in the air over oil rig and i just wanna come to land on alpha roof as im going down i go down slowly holding the space bar then once i hit the roof i die... even if im trying to fly up to the roof from the base i get bit higher then the roof drop on the roof still die. any successful way to land while flying without causing a suicide?

As long as you don't go too far up, you can always try and land on the crane...then drop down to the floors right below the ladders, but don't drop down from the crane all the way to the roof, you will die. It is the concept of fall damage. There used to be a hack (way back in the day) where they would add in the feature known as "No Fall Damage". Unfortunately, those days are long gone and we may never see No Fall Damage again.

You cant go more than about 4-7 feet above the top of the crane. Then you land on the crane, then go down floor by floor till you get to the ground. but you can't go back up into air or else you will start dying from Fall Damage. There is a height limit from which you start to die....unfortunately I don't remember and am not at my Gaming PC to tell you.

And Yes, No Fall Damage was one of the most glorious hacks to be using in maps like Two Towers and Snow Valley....Ahh, the Good 'ole Days of hacking.

fly just barely above of what you want to land on. If you go too high no matter how slow you make your self come down you will die from fall damage.

A Way not to die is to fall/Climb the nearest ladder. It will take away all the Deadly forces

Normally with all fly hacks, it doesnt matter how soft you land, you die.

hmmm u can try to not fly that high other then that its not possible cause of the gravity
