Battlefield 3 Beta question

Hey guys. So I bought Medal of Honor Limited Edition for xbox 360 a while back. I recieved an email stating I would be accepted into the BF3 beta, starting in September. Unfortunately I do not have Live anymore, so my xbox is sitting in the room and I do not use it. I do have a ps3 I use frequently though, and I was wondering, will it be possible to choose which platform I want to play for the beta? Or will I be able to play it on xbox only since I bought Medal of Honor for xbox? And if I can only play it on xbox is it possible to trade someone my xbox beta key for a ps3 beta key?

If they didn't already give you a code, then you'll be ok. It's going to be an open beta anyway, you're just getting it a week early.

No code was given to me in that email.

So then they don't know how you want to play it, so you're good. They should email you in the future, around september, about giving you a code and to choose your console.

Alright thanks, it is not a really big deal but it would just save me the trouble from having to get live for my xbox and having to hook it up to the bigscreen

actually its 2days early not a week early.
the closed beta is for 2 days and the open beta is after those 2 days
