Bit Defender is 29.99 and is rated #1. in most of the tech reviews I checked out.. Kaspersky came in either 2nd or 3rd it varied from site to site.

C.net had them in 2

I'm using Nod32 cause a coder friend of mine said it's really good.

Then Norton, in my mind. Works really well for me, over protective though sometimes.

Normally I would agree 100%

Every Norton product before 2011 was absolute shit,
but my new pc came with a trial of 2011,
and tbh the interface and features were wayyy better than their past products.

Still isn't as good as Nod or BitDefender though.

I use free Avaira.
Works fine never got virus.

Avira is actually the best free AV imo.

Well I havnt had the chance to use the new norton, as frankly, given the better alternatives, I could care less. But they would have had to have made some pretty big bounds from getting to the position they where in to a place where I could possibly see using it at all.

But so long as I have my NOD, I could care less about most other AV's.
