Good luck on that. Chances are, you might not be able to unless you already have one. You'll just have to take whatever water you can scavenge and either add purifying chemicals that you were able to salvage, or boil it and pour through a net of some grass or a piece of cloth.

Who, knows, maybe water filters won't be picked up in the first 2 days of chaos.

Pretty sure you would be very distinguishable from decomposing walking corpses.

Unless zombies have impaired senses. For example, in Highschool of the Dead zombies find their targets by hearing. That means you can walk right in front of them and they wouldn't notice.
