If you can record at 120 FPS, you can do 4x slomo and still be 3 frames above the standard.

We can see at 23-27 fps, but that doesn't mean we can't see frame tearing. It doesn't sync with your monitor.

It also means that you can't actually see movement, only a recreation of it.

I'm blind in one eye, with the other vision being bad. It's not 20/20, it's 20/40. I have to wear special glasses to see. I had laser operation, but it made me have 'light blindness' which makes bright colors and light hurt my eye.

What graphics setting and what resolution are you running?
I got a GTX 580.
And there's no such thing as a GTX 430.
