Someone tell me whats wrong with my PC Build...

OK I assembled my second build using these exact parts:

RAM: 4GB ( 2 X 2GB ) DDR2 DIMM (240 PIN) AM2 1066Mhz PC2 8500 FOR ZOTAC AND MSI MOTHERBOARDS 4 GB:Amazon:Electronics X2

Optical drive: Its just a stupid DvD drive nothing special about it

OK, I assembled this muthr fuggr with all those peices, started it up and it worked fine for the first start. Loaded the OS (WIN 7 ULT 64BIT), and it went pretty smoothly. My first problem however was that the CPU overheated and kept shutting off due to me not putting the thermal paste on correctly. But after I wiped the paste and applied new paste, I checked my BIOS and had no problem with heat anymore. SO, everything was cool. But the problem now is that Whenever i turn the fucker on and wait for windows to load, i get stopped at the windows is loading screen (or whatever the Fck its called) and when those 4 colorful balls are in the process of forming the windows logo it gets stuck at the 1st red ball and just freezes. Ive tried everything, even hitting F8 before the motherboard screen passes, and everytime I try to use one of the repair options, the bitch does the same exact thing it does with those balls -_-, or its just freeze the fuck up and stay there...

IDK whats going on.. can someone tell me if its the hardware I used or some shit.. im clueless at this point


Please excuse my audacity to go for cheap parts... I was on quite the budget due to the amount of money Ive already spent on my musical equipment.
