youre prooving my point. yeah i know ppl get a tag and then ask for another in a week( i did the same thing) eventually i got an intrest in doing it myself... i would assume others are the same.

I guess the styles and techniques have just gone too far and time consuming that it just takes too much to make a decent signature. I don't want to give anyone garbage especially if they mention me in their post because obviously they've seen what I can do. Back when you were around and after you left there were directions (basically) on how to make a signature. Things have changed quite a bit and spending an hour or more on a request is not going to be something I do quite frequently.

Fail that came out wrong but yea. You know what I meant. I just can't make promises to fill out requests. This forum is a hobby and then graphic art is a hobby. I do them in my free time which isnt much anymore.

My name is there because, let's face it, not many GFX "professionals" are willing enough to contribute to the signature requests and such other things, so it would look bad if there were like 3 pro names there and when choobs come here looking for those guys they just kick their asses out of the section.

EDIT: I deleted my name from the signature because I recently installed that stupid Windows 8 Developer Preview and wasn't able to uninstall it because it sucked ass, and now I'm stuck with a 6 months old recovery point, which, by the way, doesn't include Photoshop. I really don't feel like downloading PS and all that C4D and shit, so I'll just stay away from this for awhile. Not that anyone would care, but still...

if you make people (gfx team) take request the activity will follow. but somewhere along the line you guys got "too good" to turn out some simple tags and such

We were interested in art as more than a way to get a tag and a good rep on the internet.
We researched.
We learned.
We spent more time on things.

This made the requests such as "I want this call of duty sniper in a field that's on fire and he's dodging bullets with text that says 'xX_360_sc0pEz_Xx'" ridiculous, amateur, and juvenile.
A simple tag to you is just a canvas lacking elements, time, inspiration, and worth to us.
State facts like "more requests getting done will boost activity" all you want, because it's true. That's one way to get people in here.
But don't slam our personal affairs because we developed a personal interest in something we were good at.

I thought we had reached a consensus on this subject. Was I wrong?
