Find a good mod on the ACR, And convert it to lithtech so you can open it in Photoshop, Then color the same parts they did just with different colors, And put brushes the same places they put brushes, Except different brushes.

that's not really my style. i prefer to start from scratch and work on it rather then taking someone else's idea.

Go to google
type tribal designs
hit enter
press images
find tattoo of choice
save image to desktop
open mod in photoshop
Drag image onto gun
place file
set as overlay
duplicate the tatoo layer 2x, and set the three resulting layers to overlay.
done.

It's not taking someone else's idea. It's taking someone else's color scheme.

The only reason I recommend doing that is so you have a brief understanding of what it'll look like in game, And you can work your way up from that. It's not really taking someone's idea. Color schemes don't necessarily belong to anyone.

You should try modding the L96. It's very easy to mod and if done properly, Or with a base/color scheme, It can look really awesome.
