Also i know its kinda irresponsible to say that my gr.7 teacher was horrible, but she gave us our assignments like 1 month after we hand them in, while our current teacher doesn't even take a week to mark our projects

If you are going to a public school, I don't think they'll look at your marks, unless your going to a specialized program like gifted, or something else, then they will of course.

In some cases, you might have to worry, because if your doing bad now, how are you going to do in future requisites of a course?

Like if you don't do good in pre-calculus, how do you expect to take on real calculus? It's like trying to learn to run when you can only crawl, it's like trying to learn how to write sentences without knowing a single letter of the alphabet. If you don't know basic algebra and math in grade 8, how do you expect to do good in math in grade 9?

If your going to a public school, grades dont matter. At least elementary grades dont.

Highschool is nothing. At mine homework is worth 20% so I never do it. Just enough for an 80.

I did absolutely no Test's or "Exams" from grade 1-6. Why? Waste of time i'd rather do something else productive rather then do something I knew. When I was in grade 7 I barely paid attention and got all 60's for basically all my subjects in academic, Grade 8 I didn't try at all was to bored of school for some reasons barely passed and all the teachers said "I would fail "undoubtedly", grade 9 came. Got all 85's in my straight applied classes iam currently in grade 11 and I am already getting 95% for all my classes.

tldr; Grade 1-8 doesn't matter.

I aced that shit my freshman year of high school with little to no effort.

I aced that shit my 8th grade year, with absolutely no effort. Didn't do homework ever. Just copied off people a few minutes before class started and never didn't get an A on a test .

Who gives a fucking shit, just because you'll find the benefit of a possibility to get into a great high school doesn't mean it's the only reason to do good.
Simply do good in school and you'll find more benefits later
Don't do too well, like try too hard or spend too much time on academics or you'll miss the socializing part.

Gr8 doesn't matter when your finding a job, but you need a good highschool for a university and then find a good job.
