Fraps Fps Drop

Okay so When I got my computer, I could record CrossFire np no lagg or anything. Idk if Its something with fraps or what but Whenever Im playing, when I shoot and when i kill someone I get huge fps drop for like 2 sec. But when Im viewing someones screen I can do it no problem. I can record replays np also

Anyone else get this problem and knows how to fix?

I can record with about 80 fps until I shoot.

Well that's weird, tried to change the record settings to low/medium? Or you customized it to something more "viable" to your computer handle?

I can record black ops on high graphics. It should be able to handle it, Thats why im so confused

Apparently the problem is only on CF? Well, do you have tried to change the CF's video settings? Also, closing other programs can help a lot on the record performance.

Closed everything, tried low graphics tried high graphics, Changed resolutions, disabled replays, enabled replays. Tried everything. always laggs when I shoot

Do one thing, when crossfire is up, go to your task manager(CTRL+ALT+DEL) and then find crossfire.exe in the process list. Right click it and go to Set Priority, and then set it to "Low".

Try again.

Setting it to low priority? It shouldn't. Have you tried it yet?

What's your computer specs also?

Only if im playing. Otherwise nope. Especially Dual Deg omg

and Camstudio major failure It cant record frames on cf properly it laggs after when I watch it
