what happened to the cfPH now?
i got this message detected file-changing ./HGCW.exe then my patcher_2 and HGCW logo is dissapear!!here is the picture - [IMG]http://i1182.photobucke*****m/albums/x454/jancarl1/ed.jpg[/IMG]

then i re install cfph 5 times then format my pc 2 times but nothing happen
pls help me guys!!
sino ang naka experience ninyo jan?

but for now i know how to fixed it for a meantime!! that problem was affected by sality.aa virus!!!

try to full system scan with your antivirus to remove it.. because sometimes it will go to another file and infect it like what happened to me, I downloaded a cracked software and it infected a file in my system32 folder....when I remove the virus my system will malfunction so I kept the virus there..

this happened to me many times for two days in a computer shop that i am maintaining and finally i found a solution.

i don't know yet what's causing the changing of file, but my solution is working 100% for me.

* install a fresh copy of CFPH and fully patched it. (Do not Run/Play CfPh Yet.)

* after patching it copy/back-up the "crossfire.exe/HGCW.exe/patcher_cf2.exe" and place it somewhere you like. ex. "my documents"

* everytime the error shows just copy then paste your back-up to your CFPH directory.

nag download ako ng bago installer bro !!nakita ko yan thread ni gm rhaine nag post nko dun pero ngayon its ok!!
i donwload sality killer only from kaspersky lab and they will remove the virus and cure it ang restore from original files!!

this only happenes if you have avast or avg antivirus so that you have to turn off the antivirus or uninstall it and then uninstall croosfire and install it again after installing run it and wait till it finish the patch and the xtrap then close the game and install again your antivirus and you have to make this before installing every patch :d

after that add exceptions from the antivirus to the file that is infected by the virus so that you can play now again crossfire
it just my only way to play crossfire when i have some problems like that
