Weapon choice in spec ops?

Hey all, I have searched through these forums for about an hour now and I give up searching <_<
I was wondering if it's possible to alter your weapons or give yourself a specific weapon in spec ops missions.
Me and my brother play together on LAN with the Skidrow version and we've both fallen in love the FAMAS.
I was hoping there was a way to give ourselves the FAMAS at the start of missions where it has the possibility of dropping, albeit rarely, e.g. Estate Takedown.. and/or give ourselves FAMAS's on maps where you cant get it normally e.g. O Cristo Redentor.
Im not fluent in C++ or anything like that so I cant go make a mod myself.

You might be able to give weapons via the console. I am not sure how to use that in SP though.

You really are about which weps you use in Spec Ops. As long as it has range and ammo i'm glad...

Yeah, I tried the console commands, the only thing you get in the SP console as far as weapons is concerned is "g_give all" and that is fail cause it gives you like.. every weapon, with no ammo, and you cant drop any of em and even with an ammo refill crate it will not refill their ammo. Since your holding like 50 useless weapons... it's kinda pointless ;p

You can edit you config file like you do in zombies. Try that with _sp weapons.
