All staff members and VIP spenders, turn off your TV, your music, and hardcore pornography for a minute and pay close attention to this article. I've spent the past 7 hours researching very thoroughly behind the mystery of "Nuke Day." Many of you have been tearing through forum posts, looking for supporting evidence via J-Mod posts regarding RSBuddy whether or not RSBuddy will work and whether or not your account will be banned. Luckily, I have several high ranking player moderators as close friends who [also] have access to the High Level Forums. Now, despite them being entirely legitimate players who want nothing more than the game to be clean of bots and gold farming, they like me more than RuneScape .

Now, many of you may still be stuck on the line "I've spent the past 7 hours researching ..." because that's an incredibly long amount of time, allowing you to assume I'm a no-life. Well, I am a bit of a no-life, and I decided to hone that fact for the better, to allow myself to present all of you at RSBuddy information that's about to make you feel like a million bucks.

Jagex is partly bluffing. Now, I will elaborate, since many of you are begging me to in your minds. Jagex is pulling a psychological bomb on us, and it's called cautionary threatening. What this means is they will put us botters in a position where we cannot take risks, or else we will be banned. It sounds simple, but it isn't at all. With cautionary threatening, the host (Jagex) informs the victim (us) with an unspecified fake action that will take place in the future, causing us to feel mild to extreme apprehension regarding the outcome of that threat. That apprehension will almost always work in temporarily causing the victim to put down his or her weapon (botting) until the victim learns the host is bluffing.

Now many of you probably already guessed this, but I am here to confirm it. However with that question being answered, what in the hell is "Nuke Day," and why would Jagex say it's happening if this is mostly a bluff? "Nuke Day" is the fake action, and the only thing they're nuking is gold website advertisers (both P2P and F2P) , F2P essence miners (close to 80% of them), flax pickers (LOL), yew tree bots (mainly F2P, but some P2P), F2P Dungeoneering bots, approximately 80% of all dragon killing bots, almost all black demon bots, and almost all fruit bat bots. A few more may be added from now until Tuesday, but if you've been doing something aside from those bots listed above, then you're most likely safe.

A big question is if it is safe to bot right now until Friday. If you're smart, and want to keep your account, then don't bot until next Monday. Why not Saturday, you ask? It's not exactly Nobel Prize thinking to start botting the day after the "bot nuking" festival. Even if Jagex is only planning on banning the bots listed above, it's in your best judgement to stay away from botting until the week after this nuisance.

Take it easy everyone, and I believe this thread deserves to be stickied until next Monday. If any staff member needs serious confirmation whether or not its true, I will happily give them it.

*These facts stated above have been confirmed through high ranking player moderators, all with access to High Level Forums, without knowledge of each other telling me the same thing. 100% of the information they told me matched perfectly from moderator to moderator asked, and they had no association with each other. It is also spoken that in the RuneFest event, they will release this information to the festival members about the "cautionary threatening."

This has happened before and the people remembering this, will probably remember not to but for 1 or 2weeks from now on.

I'm going to have to disagree. Considering there numerous servers with less than 100 people and probably over half of the servers have less than 500. I've never seen such low numbers in years. They did something.
