New fucking anime

Can somebody please help me out. All I'm looking for is a GOOD anime series..... decent plot-line.... no bleach bullshit... just a strong story line and an all out entertaining series.

First squad. More romantization of WWII, but at least its midly entertaining. Accidently watched Valk chronicles anime instead of this one in a search. DO NOT WATCH THAT.(holy crap its as boring as the game lol).

You should re-watch old titles, there's nothing than fanservice these days, at least 90%...

I depends what genre your into. Here are my recommendations:
Action/Adventure: Full metal Alchemist Brotherhood (Interesting plot and story, ending is better than vanilla FMA, good character development)
Comedy: Lucky Star (No real story line, but if you seen alot of anime you like it, as it has alot of Anime quotes and parodies), Toradora (slice of life, romance?)
Mystery/Slice of Life: The Melancholy of Hariuhi Suzumi (Story with time travelers, espers and space shit that look like humans)
Drama/Slice of life/Romance(abit): Clannad and Clannad After Story (Very good story, very sad, excellent character development.)
Action/Thriller/Detective: Death Note (Makes you think and sitting on the edge of your seat to who will win.)
