I mean the bible for expample. Its possible people got together and decided that they wanted to get attention or something like that.
Same with Jesus.
Do you really think its possible that someone can be conceived half divine and can walk on water?

There is no proof it is real.
Sure the romans kept record of a man named Jesus, but that really dosen't mean anything. For all we know those documents may have been forged.

Believing that my life will not be completely wasteless, to die peacefully (hopefully) and die into a happier place. Something to give hope, something that you can uplift yourself and try and be the best you can be.

Doesn't really matter what we think.
Christians believe it because it's part of their faith.
We have the freedom to believe whatever we like.
I could write down that I shit 40 gold bars out, and explain that I had hundreds of witnesses,
then bury it in a random place of Archeological interest, maybe it will get dug up a century later
and spawn a group of people that think their asses can make them millionaires.
Doesn't mean it happened, or there is any real proof to what I wrote,
just means that a certain group decided to put faith into something.

Religion itself is irrational, you can't single out christianity. If religion were the truth, it would be irrefutable, much like how getting hit dead center by a truck going 100 miles an hour is certain death.
