The awesome part of this story is my PC will run any game you throw at it on high with 65-75 fps
and I didn't spend anywhere close to as much as that cost.

Yeah probably a troll, but it isn't impossible. I have seen a kid who bought a computer instead of a car for 6k, and yeah he really started to regret that lol

Also: anyone who buys a computer from Alienware either is rich or stupid, way overpriced...

That looks amazing, but with all the money you are dishing out here I would advise you to get a SSD Hard Drive, in most Gaming Computers the HDD's are the biggest bottleneck

The i7 is an unnecessary upgrade, especially if you are just using it for gaming. The i5-2500k would do fine, especially once you overclocked it to, I don't know, 4.5GHz. I am not exactly sure how efficient their cooling system is, but it would probably run fine. The RAM is overkill, but luckily you didn't choose anything faster (not sure if you were given the choice or not) since it would have been a waste of money. The Radeon HD 6990 4GB GDDR5, coming in at a whopping $750, is certainly overkill, as a single 6950 at 1GB can handle anything you throw at it with ease.

Overall, if you actually did buy this, which I doubt, it was a huge waste of money.

Although I kinda doubt that someone who wasted a lot on his PC wouldn't want to show off the specs, I agree that this thread comes off as far too childish
