Revelations or Skyrim?

I've only got money for one atm, so I need some advice.
I've enjoyed every single AC since the first, so I know I will enjoy Revelations. But about Skyrim, I enjoyed Fallout 3, but not Oblivion. I'm willing to try anything, but I think it would be a waste if I didn't like it. Any advice would be appreciated, and thanks.
P.S. I'm getting one of them on PS3.

Well, if you like a game that has a purpose like a plot, then choose revelations.
But if you want an open world experience with a short story mode and lots of optional quests you can do, choose skyrim.
I have skyrim but not revelations and skyrim gets a little boring after a while.

I played revelations and it's not that good. Returned it to get Skyrim.
