Console for RAGE (PC)

Here is how to get the console in RAGE to work and a list of available commands. Credits to GiantBomb.



You need to add "+set com_allowConsole 1" (no quotation marks) in the shortcut for RAGE before you start the game.
You can add "+com_skipIntroVideo 1" as well to skip all of the intro bullshit Bethesda makes you sit through.

You can save the following commands in "\Steam\steamapps\common\rage\base\rageconfig. cfg" or you can manually put them in the console yourself.

cvaradd g_fov 12 --- will increase FOV by 12 (I believe the default is 80)
g_showplayershadow 1 --- apparently bugged, since there are no real-time shadows in game (it is not implemented correctly, and just shows a shadow gliding around with no animation)
image_anisotropy 16 --- apparently bugged
m_smooth 0 --- disables mouse smoothing
pm_nobob --- turns off head bob and weapon sway
cvarAdd g_permagodmode 1 --- Perma GodMode
cvarAdd g_infiniteAmmo 1 --- Infinite Ammo
cvarAdd vehicle_god 1 --- Vehicle GodMode
cvarAdd vehicle_infiniteBoost 1 --- Vehicle Infinite Boost
cvarAdd vehicle_enableAllUpgrades 1 --- Unlock all Vehicle Upgrades

The commands in the spoiler window are ONLY for people with Hi-end GFX cards. If your GFX card sucks, your performance will drop considerably.
