School and Airsoft Crap

I live in Massachusetts and I plan to bring an Airsoft gun to school, but wont take it out of my bag on school grounds. I am going to have it so I can play Airsoft with a few friends after school. Problem is, If i get caught having it, what is the worse that can happen/whats probably gunna happen? Dont think its counted as a firearm leans more on the side of "Toy"

P.S Dont think i have a problem carrying it around in public since it has an orange tip

They're so paranoid about guns after all those school shootings so if you get caught they will most likely call the cops.

Only an idiot would get caught with an airsoft gun o-o (not calling you an idiot). Just keep it in your bag, show it off if you'd like during lunch or something in a dark corner... And make sure you can fit it to fit inside your bag and not stick out. I've done it hundreds of times.
My friend was caught once, all that happened to him was his gun being taken away. Don't know what could happen to you though :P

there's a few other things you have to do but i'm not sure what they are

If bring that thing to school, you are retarded. Anything that resemble a gun, is treated as such. You could get expelled, and charged for felony. Schools have a zero tolerance policy for this shit.

I would strongly advice against doing something so stupid. Pick it up from home and avoid any complications. Schools can take that shit extremely seriously getting you involvement with the police as well as removal from school in the form of suspension or expulsion.
