Meh both are good, for woods and CQB and such I liked Airsoft, but Speedball is just so fun.

I've played paintball, but it was very clunky. Airsoft is much less clunky because you don't have the gas tanks weighing you down.
Airsoft just consists of gun, vest, mask or goggles, and backup pistol
Paintball consists of gun, vest, mask or goggles, paintballs, backup pistol (if allowed) and extra tank (optional)

dont forget about hardcore airsoft /w laser pointers, scopes, red dot sights, flashlights, extended clips,banana clips (),bayonets , night vision goggles, grenades, smoke grenades (dont think they have flashbangs), etc.
