Why don't you sell the one your grandma is giving you, buy a new car and buy a decent-ish set from the former car sale?
Going to get my license soon, hopefully before I turn 18.
My grandma is giving me her old car, a 1994 Pontiac Bonneville. It's in mediocre condition, 199k miles and a few smalls spots of rust in the door frames but none visible from the outside.
Anyway, to the point, I'm going to buy a new audio system for the car. However, I know next to nothing about car audio. What all do I need to buy? I know you need tweeters and subs but not much else. Setting it up? Dunno nothing about that either. So what do I need to buy?
My budget is ~500-600$ and I'd like to get a bass-heavy system (15"+ woofers maybe).

Mr. Lonely: @Alen I like making you wet, it makes me hard.
My friend a friend of his were talking about speakers in his car.
He said Installing them would be a pain
I would say just wait for a better car then get the speakers
I had the most slamming 12" subwoofer of all time pushing 1000 watts rms. I put to shame people who had 15"s in their cars.
