In addition to Nico's reply, parties also allow you to make friends and enjoy the game the way it was intended. Another reason is because it is rumored that the more players in a party while playing a raid, the greater the chance is of obtaining rare items within the party.

I think these people don't know how to solo Colru, or they just want to breakoff (it's hard to breakoff all golems solo).

yea to the forums,but im just guessing that linh doesn't know that even if you launch the boat and is in the raid it won't start unless you have a full party and that you need 2 people on each corner of the map to get the golems to spawn.
