[Help] Pin pointing the exact instruction for nop-ing recoil

Hey, so ive done a number of memory hacks so far, but nothing involving going through functions.
Im trying to do one for AssaultCube and all i need to find is the instruction that starts the recoil, ive spent a whole afternoon trying to figure this out without luck. After searching on Olly for a number of keywords i ended up pursuing the words "Gun Shoot". . Ive tried reversing a few instructions e.g. Swap Je SHORT for JNZ SHORT in order to reverse it(thats how a COD tut showed me) as well as a few others with no luck. See image below, am I looking in the right place.



Hope that is large enough for you to see, also are there any better ways or hints you could provide for when pinpointing an instruction, i have some knowledge of asm but nothing major.
