    Looking to buy a Headset

I'm wanting to buy a cheap, comfortable headset with decent voice quality and sound. Nothing spectacular, I'm just going to be playing M.A.T. with it and maybe make a few Skype calls. I'd like to spend as little as possible on these, $20-$50 is about as high as I'm wanting to go. There seems to be a lot of comfortable looking headsets on Amazon in that range.

Personally I would get either the 'AKG GHS-1' (~ $60) or 'Corsair HS1 USB Gaming Headset' (~ €50).
If that really exceeds your budget, you might want to get the 'Creative Tactic 3D Alpha' (~ €32) instead, which is very decent for its price.

I'll forward AKG's GHS-1, even though they're not a "gaming" company per se, their attempt at making a gaming headset combined great sound with a decent design and functionality (provided you don't want full cups or something)

Well, I'd prefer full cups and am still pretty against spending $60 to be able to voice chat in M.A.T. (pretty much all I'll be using it for). $50 is kind of pushing it for me, let's not go over. The "Creative Tactic 3D Alpha" looks pretty agreeable -- if there are no objections, I think I'll be buying that.

    EDIT:
I was thinking about the "Turtule Beach EarForce X12" -- it's literally the first result that comes up when searching "Headset" on amazon. It's got great reviews[1], is generally cheap, looks really comfortable so... yeah. But, I don't really know jack shit about quality -- so any objections to these?

I can vouch for Turtle Beaches. They are one of the leading brands for Xbox Headsets . I've used the x31s & x41 with my friends xbox and they were amazing
I don't know if there are any cheap-ish ones for pc but check out 'Astro' The A40 Headset is amazing quality but it's super expensive

Probably going to buy the X12's then. Did some checking around on Youtube, there's videos of people actually using them as their sound recording microphone (demonstrates quality) and they sound great. I'm going to go to sleep, if there are no good reasons not to buy them posted when I wake up I guess I'll go ahead and order. Only downside I've heard of a lot is that after a couple hours of playing they can start to irritate your ears but meh...

If you don't care about sound quality ... sure. Personally I recommend you go to the closest tech store and pick the cheapest headset that you find comfortable, anything truly decent starts at about three digits, the AKG GHS-1 is a bargain imo. Although I personally don't like AKG that much, I can't really find any decent open or closed full cups at such a price that come with a mic

Turtle beach suck they break in a couple of days.
Then the people expect you to spend another 100$ just to replace them.
