[Petition] Combat Arms Hacks

I think Combat Arms is overrun by hackers. I know this is a hacking site, and it's fun and all, believe me, I know, but sometimes you just need to tune it down, or stop altogether, even if only temporarily. The game is totally messed up now, full of high ranked hackers, and justice is never brought to them. I bring here this "petition," but more of a request to all coders to stop releasing VIP-Grade hacks in public, to at least slow down the hacking. Combat Arms is a good game - don't destroy it with OPK and Telekill and Ghosting and crap like that. It's fun, but there's a line for everything.

Keep in mind, some people play the game for enjoyment - hacking can bring more fun, but it destroys the surprise and adrenaline of the game. What fun is there in OPKing every room you can get into until you get banned, then making another account (over and over)? It is fun, up to a point, I admit, but where is the line drawn? And why play if your chams ruin the surprise in the game? That takes out a chunk of fun, after a while. Just think about the game for a minute.


And with my request, you're probably asking, "THEN WHAT DO THE CODERS DO?"
Well, if they can make hacking programs, they're smart. They can have personal time, or if they really enjoy coding, get a job - make other helpful programs for the computer. You don't always have to make hacks. Plus we have this new bill coming up about to restrict a bunch of websites and cut off hackers and pirates. Do you want Nexon to put in their full support because of hacks? Mods, in my opinion, are not so harmful, especially texture mods. They bring a new unique thing to the game without totally destroying it and giving you a complete edge over other players.

Just please consider this, and make Combat Arms fun to play again.

That is still technically free of charge. Besides, if someone were to report this site, and Dave lives in the U.S., Dave could get in trouble. In fact, Dave could be sued an put in jail, or fined. That's what Nexon is doing with the other big hack websites. Their only problems is that those sites are in other countries and are untouchable by U.S. law. Another reason for SOPA and PIPA. But let's get back on topic. Free OPK is bad. Free Telekill is bad. Free anything that gives you the power to kill everyone without even trying is bad.

That is exactly the problem. People overusing these VIP hacks like OPK, Telekill, especially Opk, and now people are game crashing more often. Do you know how frustrating it is to not receive your EXP or GP after putting in your time in a game? You could have been doing something more productive. Yes it's just a game, you play for fun, but you also have goals, and how can you reach those getting booted out of games, or opk'd and not having a chance to strive? The game is fun, but what is the point of playing if you get repeatedly kicked, booted, and slaughtered by hackers?

Nexon can't use any evidence here, it's in the ToS that they are banned from even viewing the site and thus breaking the contract of the site, so the judge will dismiss all charges. The site is located in the Netherlands and thus immune.

I respect Dave and his business, he has done a great job running this site, and I commend him, but there must be some kind of policy established for damage control on Combat Arms. Think of the effect. Nexon is already trying to get the law involved, but they are helpless as they are stuck in U.S. jurisdiction. If they lose all this profit from players quitting from hackers, they will eventually either close the servers or start charging to play. Just like XBOX Live. I, for one, do not want to pay to play these already great games (under the circumstances they have, such as providing a free gaming experience). My favorite Nexon game used to be Combat Arms, until Alpha vs Bravo became Hackers vs Hackers. Now my favorite Nexon game is Mabinogi. And now their servers are being attacked by modders, for the sole purpose of shutting them down and humiliating Nexon. Nexon support is pretty leniant nowadays, but just think - they are losing business and can't pay their tech support, and if they are getting payed so little money, why bother working hard? You work hard for the big bucks, not to get a pay cut. Hacking is not only affecting the gaming experience, but the economy, and the profit of companies that invest in Nexon (those free Nx Offers), and Nexon itself.
