Can someone tell me about Elite?

I want to get Elite premium and im not sure how to get it or how it works

You can buy it with 4000msp or so I've heard. You can use a credit card or paypal and you can buy a code from gamestop every way it's going to cost 50$ so do what ms easiest for you. And then just activate it.

Elite is basically where a player who pays a certain amount for a 12month membership around $50/£35, And they get access to map packs and other add-ons earlier than everyone else.
