Lol, I pity all you people. I live in Australia (UGH YUCKIES). I wouldn't dig straight down. Also, it's physically impossible. Once you hit the centre of the earth, your gravity will reverse and you would just float in the middle of the core. Also, digging into the core would cause the earth to go off it's axis and kill us all!!
