Advice on C++

So I've been looking into C++ for making my own console and contributing but I sorta need the program first so i can mess around and get the hang of it while reading some tutorials to get all the information out of it that i can. Is there any sites that can be linked to a direct C++ program or does anyone know if this works? https://www.mpgh.net/forum/31-c-c-pro...ual-c-cli.html I'd also appreciate any advice or tips i can get on getting started and maybe some little things that can be done to get the main idea on how things overall work. I appreciate anything you guys can offer up on this!!
