Opening Protected Chests/Protected Areas

Just curious, is there any kind of hack out there that would allow the opening of chests that are protected? I think it would be real funny to go about and fill everyones chest with diamond blocks

I am also curious if there is any way to bypass worldguard/towny protected areas so you can alter the structures a bit, AKA a large phallic in the middle of a town instead of the town square.

Um well actually there is a method you can use , however it requires sticky pistons,if the area is unprotected , simply line up the sticky piston with the protected chest protection sign block(the block that the protection sign is on) and use a redstone torch then promptly destroy the torch, it will activate the piston and yank the block or you might need to take two out and then the sign will be no more and the chest unprotected.
