No point in buying a full tower unless you're getting a big GPU or putting it your GPU's into a sli or crossfirex setup, which in that case, there needs to be more room for air to flow

It's all about build quality, air flow, cable management, upgradeability, expandability, size and aesthetics. That's like saying why do people spend more than $500 on a car. An old shitbox will still get you from point A to point B.

It is the same thing. They both have a single sole purpose yet their are an endless amount to choose from. It's complexity has nothing to do it.

I had a shitty case and everything was around 60c idle and now its 30c idle.

My case was $30 something + shipping and I'm around 37c idle.

I bought high rpm fans. But I always have headphones on or music playing so the noise doesn't bother me.
