try to use game booster
if i helped press thanks
I used to use wifi for my connection to the internet, but for the past month or so, my ping has increased from around 200 to spiking amounts between 250 and 500 (in the same server). I switched to using an ethernet cable instead (cat6e). My ping improved to between 230 and 280, but is still not at it's best. What can I possibly do to get back to 200? I know it's not my modem or provider's problem, because the ping on my laptop was 200 and same with my old desktop. I need to fraps some clips soon, so I need to be comfortable with the ping on my gaming desktop. HELP ME OUT PLEASE! ANY QUESTIONS BELOW!

no, that did not help, I close everything everytime before I open crossfire including all useless processors
>check for windows updates
>Run virus scan..you can use this one, it's very effective. -->SUPERAntiSpyware.com | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware! (dont click portable one)
>Either download CCleaner and clear out all cookies/histories/saved identities, or just click tools in your browser and somewhere inside there should be something that clears out histories and sorts.
>Check if your internet connection is fast enough..you can check it here -->Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test <--
>Delete anything you don't need using control panel (windows 7). (Toolbars, etc).
>Go in your C Drive, and delete any folders you do not need. (If you don't know a specific file in C drive, DO NOT by any means, delete it.)
>Go to start, search cmd, then click enter (WIN7). Then type in ipconfig /flushdns. Click enter. This improves your ping by about 10-15
>By now, if you have gamebooster, delete it now. That shit is a piece of crap.
>Use @HaxPro 's FPS guide here --->https://www.mpgh.net/forum/287-crossf...prove-fps.html <---
>Shut down your computer, and do not start it until your computer has COMPLETELY cooled down. During this process, restart your adapter.
>After completely cooled down, turn it on again, and check your Crossfire. DO NOT open fraps just yet.
Set the 'crossfire.exe' process to low priority...

Aren't you uploading/seeding anything right? Let only CrossFire use your internet connection.
