CF at School

We got really good laptops for school, but we can't play CF, if when we click start on the launcher, HGW gets stuck at Step 4, and then after about a minute, a dialogue box pops up saying, 'Failed to connect to server : W[2003] L[0]'. If we open CF at home and bring it to school, when we maximise it at school, a dialogue box pops up in CF saying 'Disconnected from server'. Any ideas on how we can get onto cf?

OK O_O nothing on support , but i found that re-installing the game and using CCleaner might help :| im sure there's a working soloution you just have to google.... https://www.google.com xd also try opening the game with firewall/antivirus off

Yea we've tried google and the firewall. I think the school is blocking the connection. Is it possible to use a proxy or something? I use TOR to get onto facebook at school, :P

when i think about it, your school might have blocked some servers :|

Yea, well you see. Our school has given everyone laptops they can take home and use personally and for school work, so we installed cf on them. We can play just fine at home, but when we get to school, we can't get past step 4 on HGW

I think that a VPN will help you. It will overcome any firewalls your school might be having, since your problem's most likely the school blocking access to servers.

What's a VPN? And how do I use one to get around the blocking access to server?

i can teach you how to hack the network but from experience.. when they ask who did it, suddenly, the whole world knows you did
i suggest talking with your principal then

i have no idea what your talking about, my method is simply cracking and getting access as admin

trust me man, im pretty sure that your school just rented some dude to set up their network and he asked question they didn't knew how to answer so they were like OK OK OK and that how it happened :P if you talk to them im sure they'll fix it :P ( if they kind enough to give you laptops ARG)

lol...it's all about the internet conection and internet provider...maybe it's anout the speed. Or the internet proovider in your school blocked all entryes related to games..po.rn sites , and other...
