    Everyday life.

I don't know, I figured I would just post an everyday life post. I'm not sure if there is enough people that care,
But I figured I would because I'm just not some scrub trying to get recognition on a hack site,
but I am a regular everyday type of dude, just scraping by like most of us.

I will say this though. I love you guys for pulling no punches.
    For being real

For being able to see through horseshit and knowing the difference between fantasy and life.
So I really and truly dedicate my everyday life towards the realists.
My day starts with an alarm clock.
I hit snooze maybe once or twice.
After I awake, I go to work in a warehouse.
Sometimes the work load is insane,
other days, we sit and imagine the work.
4 times a year the company sends people to work out in other states
I usually get chosen to go.
They pay us to travel, to eat and to live on these trips.
Our workload is increased, but so is our pay.
I have been chosen for every one of these trips.
The moneys is great, but I miss my family, and they all have expressed missing me.
I am nor happy or sad when called to work in other states.
    Should I be?

I think it has become something so common to you that it no longer affects your state of being. You've just come to accept that you'll be chosen.

You were with your family most of your life I take it, take the money opportunities and then spend time with your family. Being close to your family isn't everything.

Actually, I bounced around for the majority of my life,
I am older now and realize how important my family really is.
This is the crux of this whole situation to me.

Lol wow..I was drunk as shit when I made this thread, so naturally I left some stuff out.

I also go to school 3 nights a week, majoring in environmental science.
I am originally from Boston,MA. I moved to New Jersey for work about 3 years ago.
I've been dating an awesome lady for about 6 months now,
Thing is she travels for work even more than I do, so I'm left missing her a lot.
Most of my family and childhood friends are back home in MA, so the distance just gets to me sometimes.
I've made some friends in Jersey, but still I really can't call them close friends yet.

I dunno, being away from loved ones for an extended period of time just blows mang.
I'd love to move back home, but that would require me quitting my job..and jobs be scarce.

This is 2012. If it was 1950 I would say stay with your family, but now everything is relatively safe and you can contact them anytime using the internet. You can contact them, but getting money is not an everyday choice in this world, there are opportunitys only, thats why I personally would go for the work, its not like you won't ever see your family again.

Good luck and keep going in life, since that is the hardest challenge of them all.

I can but it's still about a 6 hour drive from NJ to Boston
Though I do have a bunch of frequent flyer miles but I'm trying to save them for vacation
