Need An Anti Vanish Hack (see invisible admins)

I have noticed more server Admins and ops having Vanish to catch & ban players (me), I use Nodus which is GREAT but I don't think it has an anti vanish or something to detect invisible players. I just got caught mining directly to diamond and my radar didn't pick up anything so he had to of been using vanish. I know I have seen this before but I forget what client had it or if its still around? Its getting irritating.

Any help is much appreciated

Yeah I just looked into the plugins and he has Vanishnopacket, is there anything we hackers can counteract this with?

Tried tracers? I assume they wouldn't work but it' worth a try, also I remember Nodus having one of these hacks automatically On by default. Maybe it's been patched.

Well, it wouldn't be a modification. It'd have to be a hacked client for you to be able to see vanished and/or mob disguised people. Now a days, 6/10 clients bypass mob disguise and/or VanishNoPacket. One of the popular clients; Nodus does as well.

What do you mean by "bypass"?

There are many hacked clients that can see vanished people. (Vanished = they use VanishNoPacket). Most clients who do have a "bypass" on VanishNoPacket - when someone vanishes their name changes to a certain color to show the difference from regular players, friends, and vanished people.

Hmm.. Makes me wonder.

I watched Team Avolition once about 2 months ago, and I saw one of their videos. Their video was a griefing video (obviously) on this server, but the server had VanishNoPacket, and when the owner vanished, they (as in Avolition) could still see him and his name (the vanished owner's name) turned orange.

VanishNoPacket can NOT be bypassed (or couldn't have been before). It used to use Spout's packet manager to not even send network packets to the server. Since it now utilizes Bukkit's Vanish API, things have now changed...

And to @iPacket, if you aren't going to make something, then no need to talk about it. You're not being helpful, and you don't even have proof of an anti-vanish. Besides, anti-md is just about the easiest thing one could do.
