Fletching Guide (1-99)

Well, fletching is supposedly one of the fastest 99's to get in P2P. It takes under a month to get from 1-99, which is good timing for memberships that are 30-days. Here's how to get your fletching cape!

*REQUIREMENTS*
Knife (Sacred clay knife gives 2x experience)
Money (10m+ recommended)

GOOD LOCATIONS TO FLETCH:
Lumbridge basement- 1-click banking, quick&easy.
Castle Wars- Easy to get to, (Ring of Dueling) and also is a 1-click bank.
G.E.- Good place for continuous fletching, easy to get supplies, and a close bank.

1-20:
Fletch arrow shafts until you get to level 20. Arrow shafts give you .33 exp per shaft and there are 15 arrows per log, so you get 5 exp per set of 15 arrow shafts. Getting to level 20 you need to fletch around 900 regular logs. You can cut your own logs, but I wouldn't recommend this because it takes a lot of time and regular logs aren't very expensive. It will cost about 85k GP to buy all the logs.

20-35:
For this you'll be making Oak bows (long and short) to get to 35. Fletch Oak Shortbows (u) until you get to level 25, then when you get 25, switch to Longbows (u). This will take about 1k Oak Logs to fletch long and shortbows to get to 35. And again, you can cut your own logs, but I recommend to just buy them, which will cost about 70k.

35-50:
Now you'll start fletching willow logs into longbows and shortbows. Start off by fletching willow shortbows (u), and once you get level 40 switch off to longbows until level 50. You'll need about 2.5k willow logs to get to 50, which will cost around 38k to get to 50 fletching.

50-70:
Maple logs are the best thing to fletch until level 70. You'll need to fletch maple shortbows at level 50 until you get to level 55. Then, start fletching maple longbows (u) until level 70. This method is very profitable considering maple logs cost around 50 gp and you can sell your longbows (u) for about 60 gp. You're making a 10gp profit per longbow (u). It'll take about 11k maple logs to get you from level 50-70, and this will take a couple hours.

70-85:
Now you can start fletching yew longbows! Yay! Start off buying Yew longbows (u) and stringing them. This method is quicker, but you would have to buy about 5-10k at a time. You have to string about 200k Yew longbows to get to 99, which will take a long time, so I would recommend getting to 85 and doing magic longbows. You'd make a 2-3m profit stringing Yew longbows to 99, but if you have time you can do these 70-99.

85-99:
Magic longbows are great for exp! I wouldn't recommend cutting magic logs because it takes FOREVER to get an inventory of them. Check out my magic longbow profit guide for more info: https://www.mpgh.net/forum/489-runesc...-longbows.html
This can make you money if you do it right. I've looked through guides and very little of them include magic longbows because magic logs cost about 1.5k each, and people don't really look into making money off of this method. This is expensive, but if you really wanna get 99 fast, you should do magic longbows.

Once you get to 99 fletching and want your cape, the fletching master is located in Catherby. His name is Hickton, and to buy the cape you must have 99 Fletching and 99k. Also, when you get 99 Fletching, you can fletch Promethium Arrows in Daemonheim.

Well, it depends on how many logs you buy... i don't know exactly how much you'll be buying each time, but I do know that 1-70 costs like 500k and if you wanna do yews til 99 then you spend like 9m. So probably half of that, but you'll make profit off of fletching, like 2-3mish.

if you buy like all the logs at once, then it'll be like 70m. But, if you buy 5-10k logs at a time, it'll cost less...
