[Discussion] Beyond Game Hacking

Is there anyone here on MPGH that's interested in more then game hacking? I.E (Web App Exploiting, SE, RATS, etc). True, there's a general hacking section, but it's dead as fuck. Just wondering, because I don't see it discussed here much. If anyone is, what field of hacking are you interested in?

Most of the kids on this site will be interested in Remote Access Trojans. Hell, you have to remember - the intelligence level needed to set up and/or USE a actual RAT is zero. To consider it to be "hacking" is pretty low. Controlling / destroying another one's computer with already programmed tools?

See, taking a "RAT" to the next level such as exploiting someone's computer through metasploit and being able to control their computer through that - is a whole new level. It has the same basic motive of a RAT. Being able to control his/her computer, fucking with it, stealing passwords, etc.. Though, you actually have to learn how to use metasploit, and be able to exploit a certain OS through a certain point.

Well since you taught me to SQLInject I've been quite fond of that, and I tried to create a keylogger but it doesn't seem to work all that well.

Getting into a school network obviously wouldn't be the first thing you could do. Though, there are many different ways of getting access into a school network, and that involves your second option of what you would like to get into. Keylogging/using a Remote Access Trojan (RAT) would not only satisfy your want to be able to control other's computers, but if you infected a teacher or someone who a login into a school network you could easily get the login/password and bam.

I personally am thinking of doing that next year despite the low knowledge needed to use a RAT - why not do something big? I'll bind my malicious server to a powerpoint file, as well as code an extension changer and change the extension to the extension a real powerpoint would be. Turn it in to my English teacher and see what happens.

Yeah no kidding about the special education.
I haven't looked into that, no. Though, a few years back I looked into SQL and SQLi. I never actually practiced and got experienced within it. Though, I assume you are? I've seen you around your forums and you seem to know a lot of stuff about SQLi, and web related things.

SQL is a programming language, if you can learn SQL, SQLi will be nothing to you. As for being on forums, nobody here knows what forum I'm on besides @Solo, how would you know?

And yes. I didn't really get into SQL nor SQLinject like I said. Didn't enjoy SQL, so I just said, 'meh..'. More into ASM and Delphi 7.

Seriously though, nigga is beast at exploiting SQLi, LFI, and everything else that has and "I" at the end of it.

As far as the actual topic of this thread goes; I would definitely participate in the web hacking section of this forum, as my other "hacking" forum is getting a little old.
