If you expect to play games on high quality and no lag, build yourself a computer.
It's cheaper than the best of laptops but 2-3x as good.
As the title says, my laptop recently broke down, and I'm thinking of a new one to get. I gave myself a $1,500 budget, so I have quite a few choices available. I'm going to be using it mainly for gaming, and running games at high quality and no lag. I live in Canada, so I'll most likely be buying the laptop somewhere here. If it matters, I don't really mind how much power it takes, just as long as it has a high performance and more than an hour of battery life.

I would go with an Asus laptop (I believe the gaming series is marked with "G"). They offer solid bang for the buck and you can get them anywhere
