Is there a way to find out how many bricks u used/builded in a world?

Hello guys, like it says in the title. I was just wondering how many bricks i've used in a world. I'm building my own living room but it's a scale model so super big xd. I though it would be like 200,000-1,000,000 bricks. Is there any method,way,program, doesn't matter what, how to find that out?

Press ESC then go to statistics. Otherwise load the world on to SMP, and use WorldEdit to select the region. Then you can use the command //distr to count the types of blocks in the region.
