ATI and Nvidia are the only major video card makers. BFG and XFX just make the physical card. It's ATI and Nvidia's technology.

Nvidia is for people who want an intel machine that runs smoothly, ATI should be on AMD machines, especially since AMD owns them now. I couldn't really give less of a fuck card who has what, video games are pretty damn boring now so keeping up with technologies just to play Crysis, which i may add is a really fucking shitty game, then you obviously don't know how to spend your money wisely. I'd save that for something a lot more fun (turbo maybe? what about subs, amp and a H.O. alt.?) Computers aren't worth having a battle over, because sooner or later, give it a month or two, something fucking amazing comes out that shits on whatever hardware you currently run.

I hate ATi but I love AMD.

AMD is going to overpower intel's new i7 in the gaming industry with the "AMD Dragon".
nVidia = Worth your money.
ATi = An expensive paperweight.

I don't care what anyone says. i love my 3DFX Voodoo6 8000. 9yr old video card but it can still play crysis pretty fucking well. Its just too bad the company no longer exist. Otherwise I'd say ATI is better choice. Nvidia my have the faster performance, but who cares about that when the human eye can only see 30 fps fluidly and percieve up to 60. I choose better graphics over performance any day. Also not to mention ATI has way better drivers are far as stable goes.
