So you pretty much want to 'renew/replace' the VAC banned Black Ops with a fresh copy?
Think you're going to have to contact Steam Support
Hi there!
So a while back my main steam account got a ban from black ops and now during the summer sales I decided to get a new copy.
Steam however isn't all that keen about removing cdkeys as you may know so I used another account.
Anyway I wonder if there is a way too use my backup accounts cdkey without having to switch between the accounts?

Well sort off. Only problem is that what ive learned from the steam support is that I need to use another account that isn't banned and while I could simply switch back and forth between the accounts, I have wonder if there is a another way.
Like launching the game outside of steam and then adding it to the main account as a non-steam game.
The problem to me is that it seems the cdkey is very much locked to the account that is logged in and thus I cannot acess the backup accounts cdkey while using the main account.
Sorry if this is confusing.
