Is there a way to remove black bars on the sides?

I've just bought a new computer. It's a Windows 7 64-bit laptop, with a resolution of 1920x1080. When I try to play Crossfire, I have huuuuuuuuge black bars on the sides. I mean, they're so big, the width is nearly greater than the length.

I've seen a topic on how to remove the black bars a while ago, but I can't find it now! Can someone help me? I'm almost certain there is a way to remove them...

Go to your crossfire options and change the resolution to 1920x1080.

Huh? There isn't a 1920x1080 resolution in Crossfire... at least in Crossfire Europe (idk about NA). The highest resolution is 1680x1050, and it still does nothing.

PS: Before this computer I had one with 1920x1080 (it wasn't a laptop though) and it worked fine with 800x600...

Thank you so much, with your way it didn't work but with it I found another way! Here's how I did it:

I saw that in the regular Windows definitions I could only change to Small, Medium and Large, but in Intel Graphics Panel I could change to any resolution. I also noticed that the game worked fine with a non-wide resolution, but I would still have the black bars with a wide resolution. So, I tried changing the resolution on the computer to the highest one of the three resolutions that aren't considered wide by CF (which is 1366x768) and in the Windows definitions I chose Small resolution. Now, it works perfectly! The computer looks really nice (by coincidence it looks really similar to my previous computer ) and CF works like a charm! (I chose 800x600 in CF options because i use the Team Destroy TriggerBot, and it only works with 800x600)

I know it doesn't actually relate to your explanation, but you told me about Intel Graphics Panel and I found a way to make it work by myself!

So, you got your first "Thanks" right here
