Globally banned in day z but not Operation arrowhead

So it seems some how ive been seperatly banned in day z and not OA. I thought day z bans also crossed over into Operation arrow head? any how, will buying a new key fix this or am I wasting my time and will I have to wait for standalone?

What does it tell you? If it just says that you've been banned, that means you've just been banned from that server, any other server will work. If it says Globally Banned, then buying a new key for operation arrowhead will fix it.

yea it sais im globally banned on all servers as soon as i try to join, anyway so I just got new key from the BI store but for some reason the cd key change is not working how do I use this with steam? I followed the tutorial on the other thread but its just not working.

After you change your key using the key changer you cannot launch the game through steam anymore, you have to use something else (such as DayZ commander). Steam resets your key back when you launch the game through it

But the thing is my key is not changing my key looks like xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx not the 24 character one.

Are you sure you bought the right key? Also what does the Key changer say when you try to use it?

Never mind I figured it out! xd I had to activate the steam key on a new account then copy the key from the clipboard and it worked! sorry for the trouble.
