CD-key problem!

Because of my ban I bought a CD-key for 5$.
I changed my CD-key through CD-key changer.
Now when I join a DayZ server it tells me ''Bad serial number given in setup''.
So I looked on some forums how I could get rid of that message.
One of them told me to run steam as an admin and open the OA again.
But when I do it automatically switches back to my old CD-key.
Anyone got a solution?

From what lockdown says you can't run it through Steam after changing it.

I didn't launch the game with Steam, I did it with Six Launcher mate.

Six Launcher does have an option that it runs through steam. Use DayZ Commander anyway, it's much better and updated a lot more. Also - You bought it for $5, odds are it could just be a faulty key.

Problem is when I start DayZ Commander it opens but I can't see the menu.

The launcher opens or the game opens?

If the latter, use -world=empty in the "Additional Launch Parameters"

The launcher opens but then it moves to the side of my screen and it's not reachable.
I tried to reinstall the launcher but it didn't work.

1.Click the application in question on the task bar (needs to have focus and be in a restored state)
2.Move your cursor above the task bar until the thumbnail image appears
3.Right-click on the thumbnail image (you will be presented with the option menu, one of which is "Move")
4.Select the "Move" option
5.Left-click-hold on the desktop and drag the window into view

If any application moves off screen

I don't get the option man, can you maybe help me with Teamviewer?

Edit Yeah sorry rushed a bit there , what is happenig to you my firend is that you Recived not a CD-Key but a HEX-Key.
Simple i'll explain what to do

press [Windows Key] + R
and type regedit
go to this directory:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2 OA
and then double click on the KEY registry thing
and remove everything in there, and put in the code

It doesn't let me paste anything in there.

Then type it our durrrr

It doesn't let me either.

To be honest for this guy what should he write in the register a Dword or a Sword?
